Join us in celebrating Nordic and Baltic art in New York at Nordic Artists of New York's flagship showcase TRUE NORTH, featuring diverse performing and visual arts by New York-based Nordic and Baltic creators.
Experience themes of Nordic nature, expressed through music, dance, theatre, spoken word, film, visual arts and handicrafts by over 40 local artists at the TRUE NORTH: Expedition (Immersive Exhibit) and end your journey at the incredible TRUE NORTH: The Summit Live Show featuring prominent Nordic and Baltic performers.
Held at the historical New York Estonian House, TRUE NORTH unites the Nordic and Baltic art community in NYC and brings together artists, artforms and art organizations. Our esteemed partners include Finlandia Foundation National & New York Chapter, Scandinavian American Theatre Company, Nordic International Film Festival, Estonian Educational Society, HMVC Gallery and many others.

TRUE NORTH: The Expedition - Immersive Gallery Exhibition
Walk through Nordic forests, lakes and volcanoes via various expressions of art from music to dance, theater to film, painting to sculpture, all within the mystical surroundings of the historical townhouse. With various musical performances, incredible visual art, theater and dance co-curated with Scandinavian American Theatre Company and film screenings by Nordic International Film Festival, this immersive and interactive experience is sure to inspire, invigorate and leave you in awe of the incredible range and talent of New York's Nordic and Baltic artistry.

TRUE NORTH: The Summit - Live Show
Join us for a seated live show featuring performances by prominent Nordic and Baltic performers such as global kanklės-ambassador Simona Smirnova, multi-talented composer and creator of "Mycelium" Sirintip, internationally acclaimed composer and singer-songwriter Johanna Telander, New York's very own Scandinavian American Theatre Company and award-winning singer-songwriters Petra Jasmiina, Eeppi Ursin, and Ida Metsberg.

TRUE NORTH: The Homecoming - Standing Reception
Celebrate Nordic artistry and build community at this reception serving Nordic treats, beverages and new connections at the New York Estonian House bar.
